Manil Suri,
The Death of Vishnu
Manil Suri was born in July, 1959 in Bombay.
He studied mathematics in India and in the US, and is currently
a mathematics professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore
County. He started The Death of Vishnu as a short story
in 1995. An excerpt, titled The Seven Circles, was
published by The New Yorker in 1998.
